removeMessage

Description

Removes a specific message.

Syntax

void removeMessage (int $messages[, bool $decreasePostCount])


Parameter $messages

Expected type: Integer
Description: The ID of the message to delete


Parameter $decreasePostCount

Expected type: Boolean
Description: Whether or not to decrease post counts (default is true)


Notes

  • Messages won't be deleted unless you actually have permission to delete them
  • Called from other functions in SMF to delete individual posts
  • Will decrease post counts unless $decreasPostCount is false
